👊 Actionise the knowledge

Some knowledge is good to just have some idea about and stay there;

Some knowledge if we don’t go a step further, they are like evaporated fragrance, soon shall be of nothing to our living or working.

This step could be quite a gap to cross.

We could spend days studying great books like 📚Atomic Habits to improve our self-management, but still struggle to set up a habit like doing routine exercise;

We could have finished big courses but ended up still having no clue as to how to use the knowledge to tackle some live issues;

For some things, I realised what I am doing is exactly as per the few sentences I got exposed to months back.

What a journey to get the step across!

More often than ever, I find myself pondering over it again:

🐾 How do I actionise this?

(I might have coined this word? Doesn’t matter.)

The concept leads to a few side things:

◽️It’s very precious that people share their wisdom with you, which saves heaps of time, struggling, and defeated experiences. No ground to take that as ‘granted’ or ‘should be’.

◽️When we realise missing of action is more the issue, over the missing of knowledge, stop ‘studying’ or the planning to study. ‘Stand up’ and get it moving.

Procrastination under good cover is still procrastination.

◽️Time is precious. Have a screening mechanism as to what information to spend time on. And what to avoid.

◽️Appreciate the consolidated power of the team members from their unique backgrounds.

◽️When arranging training for the staff in the company, have a pre-thinking:

✶ Is it just a general understanding to be achieved among the team?

✶ Or, we hope it brings impact?

For the latter, how do we inspire the team members to move that step further from ‘understanding’?
