Do we worry about 'Circular Economy' during difficult times? 01

Updated: Jan 18, 2024

- The Paradox

Si-fictions often feature a similar plot where future people travel back in time to change things happening in the older days to avoid disasters in future.

When we don't know how soon this could become real, as we stand right in a time that could lead to a good or bad future, we have Circular Economy, akin to Net Zero, that are based on forward-thinking, and for a big picture of the earth's liveability (maybe less for ourselves, but more for our children's children...).

This is human beings' unique creativity and smartness in deducing "if we.... now, then we'll get......in future", when there is an almost definite causal relationship.

* Plant a seed now, we'll get a tree in future;

* Operate linearly now, we'll end up with much industrial waste affecting human health and living;

Yet when the time is this difficult that survival is more of an upfront issue for a company,

do we worry about the fancy 'circularity'? ☕
