We are very visual creatures!
We like being acknowledged and being praised. 😂
This May I bought an Apple Watch for my Mum as a Mother’s Day gift.
The initial intention was to signal any falling when she’s by herself.
Now her favourite one is closing off the rings and collecting awards in the Activity app. 😸😇
Mum is a regular exerciser.
In the before, nothing to give her feedback or to show her how good she was.
Since she got the watch, it has become a frequent hearing of her delightfulness at receiving new awards! 😀
I think she’s a straight-A exerciser!!
Being influenced by her, if I don’t have a tracker on my wrist to count the activities, I’d be anxious, as if I didn’t move at all! 😳

Back to work, how to visualise what we do and let that motivate us to keep on or go better, worth our thinking and designing.
Happy teams, happy leaders!
People are the ones who ultimately make happen any plans or solutions.
Then,
◽️ What metrics to go visual?
✂︎ Incorrect or irrelevant metrics shall waste people’s time and mislead people off the tracks.
◽️How to do that for a team —> a department —> a company?
◽️How to do that for individual team players?
◽️How to balance it out for players of different characters, areas of strengths and different levels of seniority?
Not getting done correctly, in the end, a good thing could become well-hated. 😬
Your thoughts? Any experiences? ☕️
